EAJAS, a group of artists, has been organized art exchange exhibitions between Sweden and Japan in Biennale format, aiming to expand art in both countries. In 2010, EAJAS has opened “Contemporary Art from Japan” in Sweden, in 2012, “Contemporary Art from Sweden” in Japan with the collaboration with Swedish artist association and arthall. Thereafter we have introduced many artists to mutual countries.
Now the 3rd exhibition in Japan, the venue is Yokohama Sankeien Garden, which is full of Japanese charm. The art works from Sweden and Japan will be exhibited outside in the garden area and inside the buildings of important cultural property. It is an exhibition the visitors will enjoy the collaboration of beautiful Japanese garden and the contemporary art of both countries.
